Don't Fall for wicked scams this year!!

Recently I was contacted by an Herbalife “wellness coach” about supporting their product at BodyEssential, in return for endorsement of our personal training and massage. I was not a fan of the product but had done little research, so being a new business I decided to give it some thought.
Trish and I met with the couple at their “club” to be given a hard sales pitch and chalky shake! After returning back to our office we toyed with the idea of trying the product, until doing some research of our own. Many of you will receive information (propaganda) about Herbalife especially in the next month. I urge you to do your own research before deciding to give it a shot. Herbalife is exactly what I had originally thought, a pyramid of uneducated sales people spewing back what they have been told in hopes of making the “big bucks” they have been promised. I found it quiet comical if you need a good laugh...

We will not sell out on the basis of overall wellness that BodyEssential is built on. We will not be supporting this product!! Please proceed with caution check out the ingredients, risks (like dangerously high lead content) and research study's before deciding to empty your pockets and ingest that stuff! If weight loss is your goal, there are plenty of safe and healthy options. Remember we are not all meant to be a size 4. STRONG is the new SKINNY!

Myth of the Month
 
If you stop training, muscle turns to fat.
No way, Jose!! Your muscles won’t turn into fat if you stop working out. They’re different kinds of tissue. Muscle fibers can be broken down by the body and used as fuel, so your muscles can get smaller without use which can cause your metabolism to slow down. When that happens, you burn fewer calories, so you’re also more likely to gain fat, especially if you don’t change your diet, but that’s not muscle fiber transforming into fat. That’s just not gonna happen!
