If you stop training, muscle turns to fat.
No way, Jose!! Your muscles won’t turn into fat if you stop working out. They’re different kinds of tissue. Muscle fibers can be broken down by the body and used as fuel, so your muscles can get smaller without use which can cause your metabolism to slow down. When that happens, you burn fewer calories, so you’re also more likely to gain fat, especially if you don’t change your diet, but that’s not muscle fiber transforming into fat. That’s just not gonna happen!
